How to Use

Overview

The Heading Tag Extractor helps you extract heading tags (h1-h6) and metadata from web pages, with support for batch processing multiple URLs. This is particularly useful for:

  • SEO analysis and optimization
  • Website structure review
  • Content auditing
  • Competitor analysis

How to Use

  1. Enter URLs

    • Input URLs in the text area
    • One URL per line
    • Batch import URLs via file upload
  2. Select Heading Tags

    • Check the heading tags (h1-h6) you want to extract
    • All tags are selected by default
    • Uncheck tags you don't need
  3. Start Extraction

    • Click the 'Extract Headings' button
    • Wait for processing to complete
    • Progress will be shown during extraction
  4. View Results

    • Results are displayed for each URL
    • Shows page title and all found heading tags
    • Error messages shown if extraction fails
  5. Export Data

    • Click 'Download' to save results as CSV
    • CSV includes results for all URLs
    • Useful for further analysis

Notes

  • Ensure URLs are accessible
  • Some sites may restrict access, causing extraction to fail
  • Process a reasonable number of URLs at once
  • Use file upload for bulk URL processing

Tips

  • Use Tab key to quickly switch between inputs
  • Cancel extraction at any time
  • Use clear button to quickly reset all content
  • Share button copies tool link directly
